Dell is going to update the Precision line


The second in the world's personal computers, Dell, is going to update its line of workstations, Precision, reports Engadget. It is expected that there will be three new models - T3500, T5500 and T7500, and their presentation can take place very soon.

First of all, it is worth noting that all of the above models are based on latest Intel Xeon Nehalem processors, and have a very powerful configuration. On the other hand, they are "good" price and can be equipped with disk arrays with a total of up to 1.5 Tbytes. All models are available ports eSATA and DisplayPort. If the model T3500 supports up to 24 GB of RAM, at the T5500, you can install up to 72 GB. You can even install two Intel Xeon processor architecture Nehalem.

The latest model in the series, T7500, is the eldest. It supports up to 192 GB of RAM DDR3 1066, or 1333 MHz. In addition, it can put two graphics cards in the NVIDIA configuration SLI. According to preliminary data, models T3500 and T5500 will cost about 999 and 1620 dollars. On the value of T7500, unfortunately, not a word.
